saferChat app for iPhone and iPad

With saferChat you are able to check if your chat partner is really the person the you think he is. Just send an saferChat request and your partner can answer it by passing the TouchID authentication. Is your partner not answering with saferChat, then you should be careful with sending intimate messages or check the person in a different way.


Instruction

To check your chat partner, tap the Button „Authenticate Partner“. saferChat generates a message which you can send to him. Your partner is then able to press on this message and to authenticate himself.
If you want to authenticate yourself, tap on „Authenticate“. When the TouchID process succeeds, saferChat also generates a message which you can then send to your partner.


Note

For this app you need TouchID on your iPhone (iPhone 5s or newer).

Of course everyone with his fingerprint saved on the iPhone can say he is the person you think he is. Which fingerprint is saved on an iPhone is in response to the owner. Nevertheless, you can talk to your chat partner in person and ask him if there are any other persons with TouchID access on his phone.
